Idil Savaskan is a London based multi-media artist.

Idil's background in large scale oil painting has led her to repurpose old ideas for paintings into much smaller pieces in the form of embroidery and textiles, mentioning textures as the focus of her fascination -- no matter the medium.

Idil studied Fine Art at Middlesex University and now divides her time between creative projects and working in a secondary school as an Art Technician.

She is also one of the founding members of the community-led Darko Zine.
